John Curry has on his
History of Wargaming Project site an article by Mark J. Hone that offers a decidedly more
precise solo variant to the rules I used for my
Meeple Trek game this past weekend. I've no idea how long the article has been there, but I only just discovered it yesterday.
It's short and very much worth a read. Of particular interest are two concepts:
- the Game-Move Sequence is broken down into seconds(!), and
- there's a figure "representing the solo-player himself" (you, the player, do not control a "side" of the conflict, just one man).
